We are, to put it simply, awake. We are aware of the pressure-cooker environment that students face today. Children and teenagers are asked to take lists of tests, which seem to grow longer every year, enroll and excel in numerous extracurricular activities, and maintain their highest possible GPAs. The current educational landscape is extremely competitive and oftentimes stressful for both kids and parents. Many students express that they feel like they are being seen as mere numbers, which we believe is not right. Instead, we know that learning should always be fun, inspiring, and driven by empathy, sensitivity, and laughter. Being results- and goal-oriented is very important, but the child must come first.
This is why we take a different approach to tutoring. We awaken the child's full potential by emphasizing individualized learning and the relationship between the student and tutor. We believe that in order to achieve maximum results, education must be student-focused. The tutor must not only tailor the curriculum to each student, they must also know what makes the student tick, and what makes the student smile. The student must be be inspired, not forced, to go the extra mile needed to achieve the best results.
